Your statutory rights

As a South African consumer you have rights under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (CPA) and, for online purchases, the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 (ECTA). Those rights apply in addition to this policy and cannot be contracted out of.

Cooling-off period (online orders)

Because you buy from us online, section 44 of ECTA allows you to cancel your order without reason and without penalty within 7 days of receiving the goods. You return the goods and we refund the amount you paid, less the direct cost of returning them. The goods must be returned in a resaleable condition, with all items that came in the box.

Defective, unsafe or poor-quality goods

Under section 56 of the CPA, if goods are defective, unsafe, of poor quality or not reasonably suitable for their ordinary purpose, you may return them within 6 months of delivery and choose a repair, a replacement or a refund. The choice is yours, and you will not be charged for the return in these circumstances.

This does not cover damage caused by misuse, accident, unauthorised alteration or failure to follow the instructions in the user manual.

Incorrect or damaged deliveries

If you receive the wrong item, or your parcel arrives damaged, contact us as soon as you notice and we will arrange a replacement or refund at no cost to you.

How to start a return

• Please reply to your order confirmation email with your order number and what went wrong.
• We'll confirm the return method and the return address in writing.
• Approved refunds are paid back using the same payment method you used, once the returned goods are received and checked.

Warranty

We do not advertise an additional store or manufacturer warranty. Your statutory rights under the CPA, described above, apply to every order.
